There were so many goslings tonight around the lake where we walked! There were at least three groups of 6-10. They’re so fuzzy and squeaky. But Mama Goose was very hissy and angry (rightfully so).

• Took a load of concrete to the dump.
• Edged a new bed where the Blackberry and Raspberry bushes live.
• Edged the front bed where the Hibiscus is and planted three Dahlias along the house with stakes.
• Dug out the right bed and saved a little rose bush to be. We got the ground covering ripped out and turned the soil over in the entire bed. It's ready to receive some planting.

It was a cool day with little splashes of rain. A perfect day for the yard work. We have loads of yard waste to dispose of this week. And much better looking beds.

📖 Making my way through Sapiens and utterly delighted by how accessible it is. I’m only 284 pages in but every time I sit down with it I learn something and I enjoy my time with it. I’m going to have to requeue at the library to finish it though.

Took a nice 2.5 mile walk along a creek today with my wife. She sprained her ankle coming down steps onto the trail but she was determined to walk and enjoy the day.

Built a Leprechaun Trap with my nephew this past weekend. It has a path of golden arrows leading into the trip wire. Then the Leprechaun will fall into the tall section and be trapped there because of the bars on the top. There is fake gold inside to keep him busy.
